Overview
Royal Life Saving WA has partnered with Artistic Swimming WA to offer the opportunity to participate in an introduction to Artistic Swimming as well as aquatic skills and developing water safety.
Led by certified instructors, the program is focused on fun, safety, and incorporates a variety of basic physical and athletic skills in the water. Participants may use their new acquired skills to advance further into aquatic sports.
The aim of the program is to:
- Provide participants with a welcoming and inclusive first experience to artistic swimming
- To foster personal achievement and satisfaction through skill acquisition and water confidence
- To inspire a love of the water and an interest in life-long participation in aquatic activities
Each session runs for 1 hour.
Course duration: 10 x 1 hour sessions (some course durations vary depending on location)
Delivery Mode: Face to face
Pre-requisites: Stage 3 in swimming or Royal Life Saving WA Stage 4 - Water Awareness
Price: Price varies on location and duration, see specific class for price. Participants will also need to pay pool entry.
What to bring: Bathing Suit, Towel, Goggles and Water bottle.
