Royal Life Saving WA in partnership with Artistic Swimming WA are offering the opportunity to participate in a program, targeted at providing advanced instruction in Artistic Swimming as well to aquatic skills and developing water safety.
Overview
This participation program is targeted at children aged 7-15.
Led by certified instructors, the program is focused on learning the FUNdamental skills of Artistic Swimming, water safety, and incorporates a variety of basic physical and athletic skills in the water. Participants may use their new acquired skills to advance further into the sport.
The aim of the program is to:
- Provide participants with a pathway in artistic swimming
- To foster personal achievement and satisfaction through skill acquisition and water confidence
- To inspire a love of the water and an interest in life-long participation in aquatic activities
Each session runs for 1 hour.
Course duration: 10 weeks, 2 sessions per week - 20 x 1 hour session - some course durations vary depending on location

Pre-requisites: AquaStART Course
Price: Price varies on location and duration, see specific class for price. Participants will also need to pay for pool entry.
What to bring: Bathing Suit, Towel, Goggles and Water bottle.
