AquaStART Adults
Royal Life Saving WA in partnership with Artistic Swimming WA are offering the opportunity to participate in a program, targeted at providing an introduction to Artistic Swimming.
Term 2 program commencing Friday April 19th, 10-week program (1 lesson each week for 10 weeks)
Overview
This participation program is targeted at adults 18 years and over.
Led by certified instructors, the program is focused on developing a variety of basic physical and athletic skills in the water in a fun and safe environment. Participants may use their new acquired skills to advance further into aquatic sports.
The aim of the program is to:
- Provide participants with a welcoming and inclusive first experience to artistic swimming
- To foster personal achievement and satisfaction through skill acquisition and water confidence
- To inspire a love of the water and an interest in life-long participation in aquatic activities
Each session runs for 1 hour.
Course duration: 10 x 1 hour sessions (some course durations vary depending on location)
Delivery Mode: Face to face
Pre-requisites: Nil
Price: Price varies on location and duration, see specific class for price. Participants will also need to pay pool entry.
What to bring: Bathing Suit, Towel, Goggles and Water bottle.
